Why buyers consider London
A deep, established market under English law, with title registered at HM Land Registry and no general restriction on overseas ownership of residential property.
What to weigh
Overseas buyers may pay additional Stamp Duty Land Tax; service charges, leasehold terms and letting regulation all affect net returns. Prices can fall as well as rise.
